We are excited to share updates on the construction progress of Rove Home Downtown Dubai. The construction of Rove Home Downtown Dubai is progressing at full speed.
The first-ever Rove Home development in Dubai – Rove Home is located in a location that is second to none. Downtown is home to the city’s most prominent landmarks, business hubs and entertainment hotspots including Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and Souk Al Bahar and is situated alongside the iconic Sheikh Zayed Road.
Developed by IRTH, in partnership with Rove Hotels, Rove Home Downtown Dubai features 348 fully-furnished apartments – a mix of Studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom. With one of the highest number of unique amenities among all residential buildings in Downtown Dubai, be prepared to be kept engaged from dawn to dusk.
As of July 2025, below is the round up of progress taking shape on-site:
• Completion of basement, ground, mezzanine, 3 podium levels, and 10 levels of residential floors
• Wall construction is actively progressing on the typical residential floors
• The facade materials will soon add a defining layer reflecting the spirit of the building
• Finishing materials are arriving at the site, setting the stage for the next phase

As of May 2025, the construction is progressing at full speed. The podium levels are completed with block work and MEP services initiated for basement and podium levels. Concrete casting is ongoing for residential typical floors above the podium level.

The construction progress remains steadfast with the completion of foundation work. The construction of structural floors including Basement, Ground, Mezzanine, and Podium floors is now taking place.
The overall completion progress, based on periodic inspections conducted by our internal teams, stands at 20%. As per the RERA inspection conducted on 1st January 2025, the project progress is reported at 13.42%.

Main Contractor Appointed
We have appointed the main contractor for the project and awarded the construction contract to Al Shafar National Co. Established in 1998, Al Shafar has been successfully working in UAE for over three decades, and their portfolio includes several construction projects including high-rise buildings, residential complexes, factories, shopping malls, palaces, retail developments and ancillary activities in UAE.
